Installing AMXMODX



What You Need:
  • AMXMODX Full Installer (Download)
  • FTP Information
Steps:
    Turn off your Game Server
  1. Download and install "AMXMODX Full Install" and select "Run AMX Mod X Installer" once it finishes.

  2. Go through the license agreement until you see the following screen and select "FTP" under the remote installation. (Fig 1.1)

  3. You'll be greeted with a page asking for your FTP information. Fill it out accordingly. You'll also need to select what operating system your server is on (ask your Game Server Provider), the mod you're running (Counter-Strike, Day Of Defeat, etc). Below that it's going to ask for you to connect to the server and "Select Your Mod Directory". Connect and find the folder that holds all of your mods files ("cstrike", "dod", "tft", etc). (Fig 1.2)

  4. Click next. Your mod should be installed! You can verify it by checking it through something like HLSW.
