Installing COD 4 Maps
What you need:
- The COD4 map you wish to install. You can find some here
- Your FTP information
- Make sure your server is stopped
- Download and unzip the desired map.
- Once you've got your map, FTP to your servers directory. Create a directory called 'usermaps' to upload the files to.(Fig 1.1)
- Navigate to the usermaps directory you've just created, and create a folder with the map name. For example, if the map is mp_test, you'll want to create /usermaps/mp_test.(Fig 1.2)
- Upload all the files for your map to the newly created folder.(Fig 1.3)
- Start your game server, execute a /rcon map (input the map name) and you're done!
