Read The Fine Print!



When you're about to buy a Game Server you'll most likely be agreeing to a "TOS" or "Terms Of Service". Most people blindly accept this without going over it (which is understandable because they usually are long and contain legal terms). This is a BIG mistake! Before you purchase your Game Server make sure you at least skim over the "TOS" before accepting it.

Some Things To Look For In The Tos

  1. Limits - Is there any reference to "limits" of any sort regarding the service you're purchasing? Any restrictions?

  2. Fee's - Look carefully for any hidden fee's that you may be subject to if you accept the TOS. Overage charges? Cancellation fee? Credit card fee?

  3. Refunds - Some Game Server Providers offer refunds, does yours? Look at their policy about refunds - this can be the difference between you losing out on your hard earned money or not.

  4. Restrictions - Is there any mentioning of "restrictions" of sort? If so what are they? Do they apply to the Game Server you're ordering?

  5. Where's The TOS? - If you can't find the TOS on the Game Server Providers site try to contact them and ask for it. If they don't readily provide it for you be weary of them.
